It appears the elderly man was terrified of the Uber driver, leading to this tragic outcome where the driver, who was likely unaware of her involvement in a scam, was killed. The elderly man was then seen handcuffed, being escorted to the police station.
This incident starkly illustrates the cruel nature of these scammers.
