They Gave All…

On Memorial Day we remember those who gave their lives for our country. We owe them a debt that cannot be repaid. Gold Star families forever live without a loved one who died for our freedom. There is no thank you that is enough.

As a reminder to my Veterans and spouses of Veterans, there are Veterans’ Benefits that pay for care. The “Aid and Attendance Benefit”’ is available to Veterans and Widows/Widowers of Veterans who served during a War Era and who need care and financially qualify. Planning to financially qualify without being poor requires planning at least 3 years in advance.

There are also service-connected benefits, and most Veterans are not getting what they deserve. Parkinson’s, ALS, high blood pressure, COPD, diabetes, hearing loss, and PTSD all could be connected to your service (especially those of you who served in Vietnam).

If you are a Veteran and want to investigate these benefits, give me a call.
