A Caregiver Prayer

A prayer for those who believe and need divine intervention. If you do not or need not, feel free to skip this message.

Today, I pray for the Caregiver who feels a little bit of everything. Lord, they may feel tired, discouraged, or worn-thin. They might feel overwhelmed or sad from missing their family, friends, and routine.

Hope may come in waves or perhaps fear rests just beneath the surface of their busy mind. Lord, they are doing the best they can to sort through what needs to be done and all of their feelings one by one.

Today, we ask You to bring what their heart needs.

If it’s peace, You promise it.

If it’s strength, You’re already there.

If it’s hope or joy, bubble it up from the inside of them.

If it’s rest, meet them there.

We ask in Your Holy Name, Amen.
