Fake “FTC” Email Tries to Steal Your Info

A fraudulent email is currently circulating that appears to come from the FTC — but it absolutely does not.

Please be cautious and do not click any links or enter any personal information if you receive an email that includes language like this:

“Few modifications were done to our email platform… If you still want to retain your email address, you’re advised to complete the following.”

If you receive a message like this, delete it immediately.

Your security is a top priority. The Federal Trade Commission will never ask you to verify your email account or provide personal details in this way.

If you’re ever unsure whether an email is real, feel free to reach out or forward it to someone you trust before clicking anything.
