Main point: Part C is Medicare Advantage. If you have a traditional Medigap plan, you already have coverage equivalent to “Part C,” as Part C merely covers Parts A, B, and D, which are also covered with a Medigap plan. I have Kaiser, which is an Advantage plan, but that is what I had before turning 65, and it works for me. However, there are issues with Medicare Advantage plans, and with all the ads out there, you should educate yourself.
